My name is Dawn Townsend and I am a wife and mother to 3 children. I have always enjoyed to write poems and stories since a young child. I have incorporated one of my poems into artwork at a older church of mine. I hope to one day open up a website devoted to God and share my artwork of poems.

Dana I think this is a great site and many are going to be blessed by it! :)

Tell me what you would like to get out of this website/message board. Just to let you know, I plan on creating some arts anthologies both in Ebook form and print form. You are welcome to send submissions at anytime. I don't have a target date yet for the publications, but want to do the Ebook at least within the next six months.

Check out my poetry card on the Victorian Rose Collection page. I plan on making more poetry cards, so if you have any poetry that could go with some art (which you don't have to produce), send me those too, if you wish. I pay a royalty on writing and art for the cards!

I also have a writing group topic where we can post, too. Many exciting things are coming! Thanks for being a part of it! I'm really excited to start growing this art group!

Just wondering if you all are interested in a discussion about a book on creativity, like Artists Way by Julia Cameron. Or is there another book or discussion topic you might be interested in? I've gone through the Artists' Way several times,including class, but never finished it. Anyone else had experience with this book or something better?
